1. About SponsorTh.is
SponsorTh.is is a product of Play Forward LLC. SponsorTh.is provides a technology platform that enables youth sports teams and organizations to create sponsorship pages and collect payments from sponsors and community supporters. We are not a charity, fiscal sponsor, or reporting authority.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create or manage a team page. By creating a page, you confirm you are authorized to collect funds on behalf of the team or organization you represent.
3. User responsibility
Team organizers are solely responsible for the proper use of funds collected through their sponsorship page. See our Acceptable Use Policy for details.
4. Payment processing
Payments are processed via Stripe Connect. Funds are received directly by the team organizer's connected Stripe account. SponsorTh.is and Play Forward LLC do not hold or control funds at any point.
5. Fees
SponsorTh.is charges a single 6% platform fee on each sponsorship payment. This fee covers both Stripe payment processing and the platform. There are no monthly costs, setup fees, or hidden charges.
6. Acceptable use
Users must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. Prohibited activities include fraud, misrepresentation, and any use that violates applicable law.
7. Data collection
We collect sponsor and team organizer information for platform operations. See our Privacy Policy and Data Policy for details.
8. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you upload. By posting content, you grant SponsorTh.is a non-exclusive license to display it on your team page. The SponsorTh.is name, logo, and platform are the property of Play Forward LLC.
9. Limitation of liability
SponsorTh.is is provided “as is.” We are not liable for misuse of funds, payment processing issues handled by Stripe, or any disputes between sponsors and teams. Our total liability is limited to the platform fees collected in the 12 months preceding any claim.
10. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold SponsorTh.is and Play Forward LLC harmless from claims arising from their use of the platform or fundraising activities.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or pose risk to the platform.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
