Everything parents, coaches, and sponsors ask us — answered straight.
It’s a simple page for raising money — for a team, a band, a club, or one kid with a big goal. You share the link, family and local businesses chip in securely through Stripe, and the money lands straight in your bank account.
Creating a page is free and there’s never a subscription. Two fees come out of each sponsorship: our 6% platform fee, and Stripe’s card processing fee (about 2.9% + 30¢). Sponsors can choose to cover the platform fee at checkout. If you raise nothing, you pay nothing.
Everything runs through Stripe — the same payment company behind millions of businesses. You connect your bank account once during setup, and every sponsorship goes straight there. We never hold or touch your money.
Usually 2–7 business days after someone gives, depending on your bank. You can watch payouts land in your Stripe dashboard.
Any adult — a parent raising funds for their own kid, a coach, a band director, a booster volunteer. You just confirm during setup that you’re 18+ and the right person to be doing this.
Family, friends, neighbors, and local businesses — yes, please. To keep things kid-appropriate, we don’t allow sponsors from alcohol, gambling, adult content, weapons, tobacco, or political organizations.
Usually not — a sponsorship here is more like supporting a neighbor than donating to a charity. Anyone unsure should ask their tax person.
That’s the idea. Pick your color, add a cover photo and your story, set the amounts people see, and add sponsor levels with perks if businesses are involved.
It happens! You can refund any payment right from your Stripe dashboard. If something’s tricky, email us and a human will help sort it out.
Absolutely. Everyone chooses whether to appear on the page — plenty of grandparents like to stay mysterious.
You get a short, clean link like sponsorth.is/your-page. Text it, email it, post it, print it on a flyer — there’s a copy button waiting in your dashboard.
