What is SponsorTh.is?
SponsorTh.is is a platform that helps youth sports teams create professional sponsorship pages. Local businesses and community members can sponsor your team through secure Stripe payments, with funds going directly to your team's bank account.
How much does it cost?
It's free to create a team page. When sponsors make payments, we charge a 6% platform fee. Stripe's standard processing fees also apply (typically 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction). There are no subscriptions, monthly fees, or setup costs.
How do payments work?
All payments are processed through Stripe. When you create your team page, you'll connect a bank account through Stripe Connect. Sponsors pay securely through your page, and funds are deposited directly to your connected bank account — we never hold your money.
How quickly do I receive funds?
Stripe typically deposits funds within 2-7 business days after a payment is made, depending on your country and bank. You can check your payout schedule in your Stripe dashboard.
Who can create a team page?
Any adult (18+) who is authorized to represent a youth team — coaches, parent volunteers, and booster club representatives. You'll confirm your role and authorization during setup.
What types of sponsors are allowed?
We welcome local businesses and community supporters. To keep things appropriate for youth teams, sponsors in alcohol, gambling, adult content, weapons, tobacco, and political organizations are not permitted.
Are sponsorships tax-deductible?
Sponsorship payments through SponsorTh.is are commercial transactions, not charitable donations. They are generally not tax-deductible. Sponsors should consult their tax advisor for guidance on their specific situation.
Can I customize my team page?
Yes. You can set your team's accent color, add a description, create up to 4 sponsorship tiers with custom benefits, and specify what sponsorship funds will cover.
What if I need to issue a refund?
Refunds can be processed through your Stripe dashboard. The platform fee may not be refundable in all cases. Contact us if you need help with a specific situation.
Can sponsors remain anonymous?
Sponsors choose whether to be listed publicly on your team page. They can opt to support your team without their name appearing on the page.
How do I share my page?
Every team page gets a clean URL like sponsorth.is/your-team-name. Share it via email, text, social media, or printed flyers. Your dashboard includes a copy button for easy sharing.
