How Funds Work
How sponsorship funds flow from sponsor to team
Direct payouts via Stripe
SponsorTh.is uses Stripe Connect to route funds directly to each team's bank account. When a sponsor completes payment, the money flows through Stripe's infrastructure â we never hold or pool funds ourselves.
The fee breakdown
A single 6% fee is deducted from each sponsorship. This covers everything â Stripe's payment processing fees and the SponsorTh.is platform fee. There are no additional charges.
Example: $100 sponsorship
Total fee (6%): $6.00
Team receives: $94.00
Sponsors can optionally cover the fee so the team receives the full amount.
When teams get paid
Stripe processes payouts on a rolling basis â typically within 2â7 business days after a payment is completed. Teams can view their payout schedule through the Stripe Express dashboard, accessible from their SponsorTh.is dashboard.
What teams can use funds for
Teams tag their fundraising needs when creating a page â uniforms, tournament fees, travel, equipment, and tuition. Sponsors can see what they're supporting. Fund allocation is managed by the team organizer.
No subscriptions
SponsorTh.is doesn't charge teams a monthly fee, setup cost, or subscription. The only cost is 6% per transaction. Teams can use the platform across multiple seasons at no extra cost.
